The on-line web conference was a truly unique experience. I think this is a good tool in theory, however the conference I attended left me with more questions than answers. There were too many people in attendance and therefore questions were asked and left unanswered since many conversations were going on at the same time. Topics that were discussed included: clarification on week 4 assignment, ILD training, internship hours, professional portfolio logs, LCE test, and the final course EDLD 5398. Although the conference coordinator could not answer many of the questions, she did offer to look into these issues and get back to us. I have found the students in this program to be a great resource, many of them being eager to help and offer their knowledge and suggestions. For this reason, I valued the opportunity to be able to collaborate with them during the web conference.
